The expansion offers good singleplayer levels and great looking visuals, but the gameplay may feel old if you've played AoE III before. This is the definition of RTS and this game has the best of it. This is superb. Much better than previous AOE. Vast attractive and very nice gameplay. The Asian Dynasties failed to rekindle my interest in Age of Empires 3.

The cards add great new demension to the strategy of the game. The only thing that needs to be worked on is the hit points of buildings. A testament to the uniqueness and coolness of the new civilizations. It has you choosing the city and country you want to choose, making strategy and gathering resources with citizen and exploration.

This a completely new, standalone game on the engine. Some systems were replaced with other, completely unfamiliar for the players systems.

This game has just recently been released so don't expect a perfect game that has been patched one million times over and is completely bug. If you ever wanted to play Sid Meiers' Civilization with Mount and Blade's combat, then this is the game for you.

Rise of Nations is a fantastic RTS with great features. Government is an addition added in this expansion that adds a nice layer of gameplay to an already great game.
