Call of Juarez Gunslinger is Techland at their best and the most fun I have had with a western experience since Red Dead Redemption. The story is enjoyable and the little twists and turns along the way keep it interesting and even funny even though you are basically doing the same thing over and over again. The story mode also contains duels which are a point of contention for many players. While the gameplay does not push boundaries it is dependable and will prove both challenging and fun. Environments felt a bit stale and repetitive. Which is also highlighted by the lack of civilians in the few town maps. The gunplay in Call of Juarez Gunslinger is fast and hectic, but very enjoyable. The characters are all very well designed, and the environments are very enjoyable.
Call of Juarez Gunslinger is one of the best western experiences to date, and while it not might be as full of content as other titles on the market, it manages to tell an interesting story by using actual Wild West legends in combination with some newly created characters that have their unique personalities and role into the story. Overall I completely recommend Call of Juarez Gunslinger.
