A city simulation that allows for total control and customization. The game is still a huge hit with the modding community. The game is such an architectural playground that you can build on it for hundreds. The game itself is pretty good. Build your own city and see how far you can go, or you can build your city and destroy it. This game holds up amazingly well for its age. Spent a lot of time building and managing a city.

SimCity 4 is the best in its class, namely the creation of cities. This is my favorite city building game, and for good reason. This game is my all time favorite game. If you need to compare this to modern city builders such as Cities Skylines or Simcity 5 I still think that it beats it. If your rig can't run the all new fancy city builders, or you distrust the DRM management style, this is great.
