Overlord is a game that came as a surprise on how good it actually is. The game is pretty fun, with the story being staged with you in the role of the villain out to subjugate. The game play is fun, though a bit frustrating when you can't quite find how to get to the next area. The graphics, although aged, still looks good. The art style is reminiscent of Fable 1 which was nice for its time. Interesting new concept of minion control which was more or less implemented well. Enjoyable experience with its interesting game mechanic, good story backed up by good level design, good humor and an overall wonderful experience.

Overlord is one of the games that sticks in your memory for all reason you can never quite remember until you play it again. One of the best combinations of game play, story, and humor in the gaming world. Very easy to get into, great humor with solid and enjoyable mechanics under the hood. This Game is just absolutlly Amaizing. It's got a surprising amount of depth and innovation in a lot of different areas of design, excellent humor, art work and sound. Overall it's a well done game and instantly a classic in my library.
