The story is pitifully short it's entertaining, but too short to be satisfying. Not really a good sign for a Visual Novel, a game genre where it relies heavily on the story. Which is again, a shame, because they had a potential for something better, which wasn't capitalized upon. The main characters have a fair amount of development, but only far enough not to be considered utter cardboard cutouts. A very beautiful art, decent music, but the story is not that great, it tries to be serious, but all that panty and boobs stuff breaks the seriousness.
With quality writing making witty references to modern western media in an endearing effort to bridge the differences between two cultures. All in all this is a very satisfying MOBA, I'd stop playing The war in a heartbeat to make the switch to this. Overall, it was a decent visual novel. It wasn't that long Well, that's pretty much it. Sakura Spirit is a great visual novel with a good plot. Try Steins Gate or the Hate series on PC if you are in search of a good game within the genre.
