The game is basically feature complete, but needs a little balancing. The game comes with 6 different starting kingdoms/factions and the ability to customize you own. Exploration on the beautifully drawn map is a joy. The landscape is lush and filled with treasure chests of resources for crafting. Tactical combat tactical combat is square-grid based, and is snappy and to the point. It's a really good fanasy 4x game with RPG elements for your heroes and armies. This game has a wide variety of challenges, and you can customize it to be a cakewalk. There's also a neat number of abilities- and the process of exploring, levelling, and fighting is fun.
Great potential for interesting decisions. Hopefully, it will be fully realized someday. I enjoyed the new mechanic of having a fixed goal. If you liked Elemental Fallen Enchantress and Fallen Enchantress Legendary Heroes, I absolutely recommend Sorcerer King. If you like fantasy 4x games, I absolutely recommend Sorcerer King. Sorcerer King from casting the Spell of Making and becoming a god and ending the game for you.
