It may not take the place of any Grand Theft Auto game but it could certainly hold its own against Max Payne. Total Overdose doesn't do much that's new or innovative, but what it does drips with so much style that you can't stay away.

A Rich storyline taking the player through 18 different environments, from the seedy red light district of Los Toros, to the depths of the Mexican desert. A free-style combat and stunt system to take down your enemy with more outrageous moves than you can shake a hot chilli.

Whilst not as polished as Grand Theft Auto, I found this game unadulterated fun. Just so fun, shooting, killing, mameing crazy littles, going into Day Of The Dead mode is a joy in itself.
