The story is simple but feels alright, the characters are all pretty charismatic and have their own personalities. The gameplay is varied enough, and when you think it might become boring, new gameplay elements come in.

The game Far Cry storyline is good, but it's probably not what you'll buy the game for you buy the game for the tropical islands it is set on. This has quickly become one of my top 5 favorite games of all time. The game is sandbox style but it is also set up in a way where you can get to parts of the island quicker via vehicles other means.

The single player truly shines, giving the player complete freedom and an infinite number of ways. A great game with great story and outstanding characters, Beautiful, deep, rewarding, crisp, varied, purposeful, fun, addictive. The graphics on consoles and on PC are both superb and one of the best looking game of this generation.
